EZ IvoriesThe harpejji would definitely not be the harpejji without this Patent Pending visual matrix. The ivory markers represent all of the ivory keys on a keyboard and the black markers represent all of the sharps and flats on a keyboard. The ivory diamonds represent all of the notes ‘C’. With EZ Ivories, the harpejji is easy to navigate and fun to explore!
EZ OctivesOn a standard keyboard, a typical keyboardist can easily reach a one octave span between thumb and pinky. On the harpejji, the same keyboardist will be able to reach twice that (two octaves). The result? New rich, open chords that have never been explored and multi-layered bass octaves.
Tuner SystemThe harpejji’s tuner system utilizes low profile socket head cap screws with micrometer threads to fine-tune the tension in each string. Both pitch adjustment and tap-tuning happen at the player-end of the instrument, so tuning one string is quicker and easier than on a guitar. Also at this end, each string is held in place by a set screw, so no string winding is required!
Inputs & OutputsThe harpejji has two separate preamps. The first 12 strings comprise the bass section and the second 12 comprise the melody section. This convenient signal separation allows the player to apply totally different effects to each section of the harpejji.
PickupsThere is a small piezo pickup embedded in each string saddle. Piezo pickups provide a clear representation of the natural string harmonics without robbing the instrument of even one millisecond of sustain.
Frets15 frets are installed in precision CNC-milled fret slots. Accurate fret spacing means accurate intonation.
Master VolumeThe master volume is located at the base of the harpejji, closest to the player, and is centered for easy control by either left or right hand. It simultaneously controls bass and melody volume. Independent bass and melody volume adjustments can be made further down the signal chain.
StringsEvery harpejji is strung with twenty-four Ernie Ball electric guitar and bass strings. The first nine bass strings are flatwound strings that deliver a warmer sound, a softer attack and easier sliding. All twenty-four strings are strung through the body for maximum sustain and a cleaner appearance.

Rubber RunnersTwo runners straddle the underside of the harpejji, protecting the gorgeous finish and holding the instrument in place, either horizontally, or on a slight incline.
