There is nothing like a Marcodi Harpejji

I received my Marcodi g-16 a couple weeks ago. As soon as I opened the box, I was convinced that I had purchased a superior quality instrument from a company that is very concerned about customer satisfaction.
It is indeed true that if a guitar and piano had offspring, this instrument is what would be produced.
Previously, I had ordered an adjustable stand (the one recommended on their website) and within a few minutes had the instrument unboxed, on the stand and connected to my Fender acoustic guitar amp.
The first step was to tune the instrument, which was easier than some of my other instruments. I found the website video to be helpful as well.
Having previous piano experience, I find the fretboard to be logical and very easy to navigate. It is set up similar to a piano, with the black and white keys, but using a more "Multi-Level" strategy; requiring the player to slide up or down at times throughout the chromatic scale.
All in all, it only takes a few minutes and a quick mindset reprogramming to learn.
After an hour or so of noodling, one greater challenge did surface. Unlike a traditional piano/keyboard, the notes (strings and frets) are much closer on the Harpejji, requiring the player to create alternate fingering patterns, to prevent "finger mush" as I call it. Thankfully, the Harpejji was designed to allow for multiple note choices, allowing more finger space, which will lead to faster playing ability in the future.
As with any instrument, it just takes time and practice.
In short, I have purchased a multitude of instruments throughout my musical journey, but the Harpejji truly stands out on its own for design, sound, quality and craftsmanship.
During the couple months it took to built my instrument, the owners (Joy in particular) answered a number of questions, offered financing options and kept me apprised of the instrument build. It was evident they take pride in ensuring good customer service and it will be a privilege to recommend them to friends, colleagues or anyone interested in a Harpejji.
